Intervention supports

Supported by

We have worked with expert teachers to develop intervention supports to help teachers to support students who have significant gaps in their learning:
  • Screening Assessments - six pen and paper assessments, aimed at identifying students who might require additional support in some of the foundational mathematics skills as they enter Year 7.
  • Precedence Diagrams - provide a clear visual representation of the vertical sequencing of units from Year 5 to Year 8, They assist with planning where to start and where to go with intervention.
  • Daily Review Additional support materials - specifically designed to help students achieve fluency in the required skills and concepts for the Year 7 curriculum, as a specialist review of previously taught material from Years 5 & 6.
